Refund policy

The Basics

  • You must contact us within 7 days of your package being received with any issues. (B1)
  • We do not accept returns due to "mind changes" or not fully reading descriptions. (B2)
  • All returns packages must be received within 20 days of the date your order shipped from us.  (B3)
  • Refunds can only be issued to your original payment method or you can receive a gift card to your email for store credit! (B4)
  • We do not have an "exchange" process - simply return your item and place a new order for the alternate item.  We will refund for the original order as appropriate (see below).(B6)
  • Dropshipping orders placed on another site are not eligible for returns. (B7)
  • If a return is accepted, buyer is responsible for return shipping fees (unless there is a mistake/damage on our end)
    • Discounted items are final and cannot be returned or exchanged (these items will also be noted in their description if they are not able to be returned)
    • Returned items must have tags still on and be returned in original packaging
    • Returned items must have no visible signs of wear or use
    • Seasonal items are final sales

Shipping is non-refundable, except in cases where we have made a shipping error and/or something else happened during shipping. If we messed up, we take FULL RESPONSIBILITY!

 

    WHAT ARE RETURN GUIDELINES?

    • Hygiene items such as soaps, linens and pillows cannot be returned for hygiene purposes. 
    Refunds can only be issued to your original payment method or you can receive a gift card to your email for store credit!
    • To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

      ITEM RECEIVED IS DAMAGED OR DIDN'T COME!


      If your item was damaged during shipping, never arrived, or was mark as delivered but you never received it, follow these steps:

      1. Contact the shipping carrier ASAP
      2. We have partnered with an insurance company to make situations like this SO MUCH easier! During checkout you have the option to purchase this insurance for very cheap (we do not profit from this, we've just found it to work amazing in these situations).  If you purchased the insurance & have an issue with your shipment, visit https://reimbursements.encased.io/ & fill out a few boxes to get the process started.
      3. If you did not purchase insurance and one of the above things happened, please make sure to contact the carrier first (as it's out of our control) and email us at Hi@Gia-Roma.com for any assistance.

      Please allow up to 5 business days for your refund to process once the returned product is received by our warehouse.

      We have a 7 day return policy, which means you have 7 days after receiving your item to request a return. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

      Damages and issues

      Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

      Non-Returnable items

      Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.

      • Returns received after 20 days of the original order shipment date.
      • Returns received in used, damaged or worn condition.
      • Any special offers where terms state that sale is final.
      • No Returns or Credits for Items Shipped Internationally
      • Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.


      Exchanges


      The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.


      Refunds


      We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method for the full product cost, we cannot refund shipping fees. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too - allow us up to 5 days to process it on our end please.
